New Research Blocks Available

The Library Research block provides links to context-specific research pages from the library's website. If contextually-specific pages are not available for the course, a "General research" link is made available.
The "Encore" block for KATIE allows direct access to the library's "Encore" search system

  1. USE FIREFOX BROWSER
  2. MAKE YOUR COURSE AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS (Administration block->Settings)
  3. ADDING STUDENTS/TEACHERS: Administration block->Enrollments link->Select role from drop down and search for additions (along the right). Click for 40-second TUTORIAL
  4. To display your course site "News" forum, add the course block, "Latest news" to your course site
  5. Make sure pop-ups are not blocked for katie.luther.edu
  6. Link to your files on your public_html folder (H:drive) CLICK HERE

Making Courses Available to Students

Luther College has implemented an easier method for making sure your KATIE course site is available to students and, if not, making it available to students.

If your course IS NOT available to students you will see this button on the navigation line of your KATIE course page (click this button to make your course available to students):


If your course is already available to students you will see this button on the navigation line of your KATIE course page (click this button to make your course unavailable to students):
