DON'T FORGET THE TILDE (~) BEFORE YOUR USERNAME.

- Perform the same steps from 'A' above including "/SUBFOLDER NAME" at the end (ex: http://academic.luther.edu/~puffro01/Moodle/sample-exam.doc")
4. UPDATING FILES ON YOUR PUBLIC_HTML AREA OF YOUR H: DRIVE
- You can access your files directly on your H: drive by double-clicking on them. Any saved changes will be reflected to the H: drive automatically and also KATIE, if links are already in place. This procedure can only be accomplished while on campus.
FILE SHARING STRATEGIES
- Subfolder structures can be easily created off from your public_html folder allowing a granular and varied method of sharing files between disparate KATIE course sites and different sections of the same KATIE course site according to your instruction needs.
- Do not share file resources directly from your public_html area, share from subfolders only.
- Place an empty file called, "index.html" in the your parent folder (public_html) to prevent students from "browsing up" from the folder you're sharing on KATIE.
